Re: SUM - with 2 conditions

Take a look at using sumifS()

    =SUMifs(D5:D100,C5:C100,A2,F5:F100,Name1)
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
    2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

Re: SUM - with 2 conditions

You can use this in the formula:

    =MONTH(DATEVALUE(A2&" 1"))

This will convert the name to a month number that you can then use to construct dates for the start and end of the month to then use as bigger than or less than or equal to criteria in the SUMIFS.

If that doesnt work for you, upload a small (clean) sample workbook (not a pic) of what you are working with, and what your expected outcome would look like.

    Maybe like this

    =SUMPRODUCT($D$5:$D$100,(TEXT($C$5:$C$100,"mmmm")=$A$2)*($F$5:$F$100=$A$1))

No, which is why confusion reigns. I do wish established members would remember to add the SOLVED tag when they are done.
