Hi I want to take time from time for example lets say
1.14.72s - 1.12.02 can anyone give me a formula to do so every time ive tried all i get is the answer VALUE.

From your location (UK) the separators should be ":" (colon) not "." (dot)
format cells hh:mm:ss
simple formula in C1 =A1-B1

do not put 's' in the time

Thank you still not getting correct answer the times are in minutes and seconds not hours

For milliseconds use number forma mm:ss.000
