Spilled Formulas That Don't Spill Zero Values and Spill A Total?

    Greetings,

I'm working on a spill formula where I need a few things.

    1) There currently is a spilled formula in the example. Can the formula be revised so that it doesn't spill values with a zero amount?
    2) Can the spilled formula be revised so that not only does it spill the values I select, but also spills the total directly below the last spill cell?

In the attached example I highlighted the things I am trying to do with the formula.

Thank you very much in advance!

Am I understanding it correctly that you want entries in C2# to appear as "" whenever the corresponding entry in D2# is non-numeric?
As D2# already refers to C2#, I had to insert a column and hide column C.
But maybe conditional formatting would be better?

Have not looked into question 2 yet. Maybe you need to create columns like
    =SEQUENCE(NUMBER(C2#)+1;1;1;0)
    =IF(ROW(G2#)<MAX(ROW(G2#));1;0)
    =IF(ROW(G2#)<MAX(ROW(G2#));0;1)
and then sum the products of these 1s and 0s with the appropriate columns?

Very kind of you to offer help, and I hope it will be useful to someone, but be aware you've responded to a thread that is over four months old.

Ah, missed that This just turned up as "similar thread" to my own thread.
(By the way, almost four months, not over, if we are going into details...)

OK, Mr Smartypants, if you want to go into detail: what you haven't spotted (yet) is that the forum uses US date formats (mm/dd/yyyy). So, 10 September, by my reckoning, was over four months ago as of 11 January.

    LOL!!!

Oops, there you got me... again...
In some cases a late reply is better than no reply (with the excel issue I have right now, I have to settle for a second-best solution in hope of working out the "optimal" solution later on). However, I suspect the question in this specific thread already got its solution outside the forum by this time...
