excel has many libraries available by default, but javascript should not be one of them because it doesn't come with office. however, have you seen this?

and xlWings is just another python library that connects to, probably everything. kind of like Pandas. do you have a specific purpose as to why you want to add JS to the mix? Python can do almost anything in the world.
Yes, you can use JavaScript in Excel Addins, it’s supported natively and is probably now Microsoft’s preferred addin method https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/off...add-ins/excel/
