How do you link shapes to cells

Hi,

I am looking for some help. I have an action register created. Like a to do list. Under the status column I have a circle. An empty quartered circle for 0% complete, a quarter filled circle for 25% complete, half filled for 50%, etc...

I would like to be able to enter a number in the cell and it automatically turn that into the shape that I want. 0 for empty circle, 1 for quarter circle, 2 for half circle, etc...

Is there a way to do this?

do you have 3 different shapes at the moment? 1 for 0%, one for 25%, etc? you didn't make that clear. more than likely, at least based on what I know, you can't change a single shape's inner workings to display differently than what was programmed into Excel to begin with. that would make absolutely no sense, because shapes are feature of the program itself.

someone else might know more.

one obviously alternative though, is to create 3 different shapes that you want, stack them on top of each other, and make them visible/invisible based on the number you type in.
