Vlookup formula not dragging down correctly

I wrote a simple vlookup formula just practicing but when I drag the formula down, it is reporting the wrong values, when it should be exactly correct. Even though I made the ranges absolute references, it is still not dragging down with correct values. It will just repeat the value of the cell from which I dragged from. When I examine the formulas they appear to be correct.

What happens when you press [F9]? Is there a CALC indicator in the status bar?

It would be rare if the first argument of vlookup were an absolute reference...

Is lookup cell relative cell? It should be. If it was absolute, the result was unchanged..

My first cell in the formula was not absolute, just the range for the 2nd. argument.

It wasn't set to calculate automatically. It looks like F9 fixed it. Thanks!!!!
