Any financial/internal auditors out there? What tools do you use or wish you had?

Title says it. I'd like to hear from auditors directly to see what tools they use and what they wish they had. For example, did you create your own tools? Or do you wish you had more functionality that paid addins don't offer? What are some common processes you take?

We use Excel for workpapers, Suralink for document requests, Power BI, Caseware Idea...not sure what kind of "tools" you're looking for.

I'm thinking more along the lines of homemade macros or functions. I know it's pretty limited on what we can do since not all client systems are uniform.

One simple example would be a macro that conditional formats a user selected amount and condition, e.g. greater than tolerable misstatement.
