Registration for breaks

Hello friends,
Every employee has an Excel in which he enters data.
I am interested in setting up another Excel with options for lunch break times a day.
The file will be linked to the employees' existing files and they will have the option to select a break time.
If the break time has already been selected by another employee, it will not be possible to select the break time again.
I have no idea how to do this, I would be happy for your help

it doesn't sound like you're going about this the right way. if I were you I'd set up one master book and share it with all of your users. that simple.

hi,
I should have no option for employees to see each other's break times and not be able to change each other.
I want everyone to be shown a list and when one chooses the other the option will disappear.
I'm sure possible just do not know how ..

i've never done something like you want to do. this might be useful, however it doesn't sound like something you need. typical protocol for using excel and its built-in security features is this:
