How to combine column data with same category (similar to tags) together

Hey everyone, I'm creating a trading journal to analyze my performance of different strategies. However, there are times where a trade may have multiple different strategies in play. For example, 'Earnings Play' + 'Breakout' + 'Oversold'. I'd like to create graphs to compare the performance of these strategies, but how could I make Excel consider them together. Right now I listed the headers as 'Strategy 1', 'Strategy 2', 'Strategy 3' although this doesn't combine it.

Welcome to the forum.

You could use VSTACK to get one column's worth of data to the right of your table and use this for your graph data.

If you want help to do this, attach a workbook, please. I can't work with a picture.

Hey Ali, thanks a lot for your message.

Just to clarify, the reason why I currently have 5 different Strategy headers is incase a trade has 5 different strategies that can be labelled for it.

I have attached a spreadsheet.

Try this in an empty cell to the right of your data:

=VSTACK("STRATEGY",TOCOL(F2:J23,1,1))

Then select this array and go to Insert > Recommended Charts. Excel will create a pivot table and a chart on a new sheet. You can move these to the main sheet if you wish.

I didn't include this in the workbook, but would it be possible to create a graph and table to show the Net P&L of the strategies, Total Wins, Average win%, etc? Right now it has 'Count' which is essentially Total trades which is helpful.

An example that can be seen on that attached workbook is there is a column for 'Timeframe of Setup', and I'd like to know the count of each strategy based on the timeframe (1 minute, 5 minute, 15 minute). Would it be possible to show this using the VSTACK method?
