CSV file showing 0s at the end, how to solve?

Hi guys

I have received a csv file with a column that has 0s but I am guessing that this is something that should be corrected by the sender when they import and send me the data? The file shgould nopt have 0s at the end. I think it is because it is in a csv format

???? What are you expeting to see in column H?

I didn't understand what your concern is. The others seemed to focus on the EAN field in their questions. When I open the text file in a text editor, I see that 5.06E+12 is the text entered in that field for all records. If the EAN field is supposed to be the European Article Number (https://www.hellotax.com/blog/amazon...ns/ean-number/ ) -- a 13 digit number that is unique to each record -- then you will need to go back to the source of this text file and ask them to include the full EAN in that field in the text file. 5.06E+12 (or 5060000000000) is what is currently in that field, so that is what Excel will have when it opens the text file.

MrShorty appears to have got my issue. I am expecting to see a unique 13 digit number rather than 5.06E+12 (or 5060000000000) so I just wanted to check whether I as a end user could fix these cells or if i NEED to revert back to my source. It seems as though I need to go to the latter
