    Expand a range of non linear values

    hi,

    I have a set of numbers indicating the start value and stop value. I need to expand the range and fill the numbers in between. the step value for filling the numbers is constant (or 1). The fill option only works for one cell. I have to repeat the action for around 500 line items. can someone help me out in this?

    Welcome to the forum.

    There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

    There is no 2008 version of Excel - are you using MS365? Please update your profile.

    Yes , I am using MS365. I have updated my profile. Also, I have attached a sample workbook. Also, please bear with me as I am quite new to this forum.

    given O365, formula wise... and, rest assured, there will be better methods...

    Yes, you can use these Type Character Suffixes but, to my knowledge, it's generally considered better practice to use "As" given the character suffixes persist for backwards compatibility.
    (that said, I am sure some people on this board will disagree...)
