Hello all,
I'm trying to calculate an end date for a project. I have the formula working, because of this forum's help, where it sums all the hours from the person who's name appears the most (i.e., the person with the most work is driving the end date).
That formula is working and in cell C7 of the attached worksheet.
However, when I expand that formula down the Task List sheet, it then picks up all the summary lines (highlighted blue). I found a VBA code online that allows me to determine if a cell is colored in, to return a "TRUE" value (which is on the data tab).
So, now I'm looking for a formula that says "If the cell on Data tab in Column I is TRUE, skip / ignore / do not use that row's data from the Task List, but sum everything else based upon who's name appears the most"?
Also, if this isn't allowed, please let me know, but I have another thread in the VBA forum where I'm trying to figure out how to do this all at once. I don't care which way works, I'm just trying to get something to work. If it's not acceptable to have 2 threads going to solve the same issue, please let me know and I'll shut down one or the other.
Thanks in advance!
