In Excel, the 'Home' key moves the cursor to the first column of the current row, totally ignoring any/all blank cells. Is there an equivalent for forcing the cursor to jump to the first row of the current column? I realize this can be done with VBA, with a simple line of codebut I was hoping to discover whether there is a non-VBA method.HTML Code:
The obvious one is just press and hold Ctrl+UpArrow it will stop in each empty cell, but it will move to next, next, ... until the first row cell is selected (probably in a fraction of a second).
You can also use Ctrl+G and write your current column first row address (like G1 or AA1, etc).
If you use R1C1 addressing mode (not many people do it, but some do - it's available in Options - Formulas - Use R1C1 style) you could simply press Ctrl+G and write R1C (row absoluite 1, current column)
