Convert HTML text into multiple columns

    Hi

I have a set of data with HTML product descriptions. as below

<p>Aluminium oxide</p><p>For grinding, sanding and smoothing</p><ul><li>Suitable for metal, wood and plastic</li><li>Removes rust and paint</li><li>For sheet metal and car body work</li><li>No backing pad required</li></ul><p>Suitable for all makes of 115mm angle grinders.<br>Aluminium oxide construction.<br>The conical shape provides an excellent angle for contour and edge grinding.<br>Ideal for heavy grinding on ferrous metals as well as hard woods among many other applications.<br>Aluminium oxide flap discs are specially designed to be used with angle grinders for grinding flat surfaces.<br>Features a depressed centre and are primarily used on alloy steel and low alloy steel</p><p>Achieves a longer life when compared to resin fibre discs.</p><ul><li>Diameter: 115mm ( 4" )</li><li>Bore / Arbor Size: 22.2mm</li></ul><p>Buy 100 for a bulk discount!</p>

    this is in column H.

I want this to be split at each new paragraph or bullet point into columns I, J, K .... etc.

and then repeat for the row below.

    any advice appreciated.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the forum.

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

Re: Convert HTML text into multiple columns

I asked for a SAMPLE workbook. Please read the instructions again:

Fast answers need clear examples. Post a small Excel sheet (not a picture) showing realistic & representative sample data WITHOUT confidential information (10-20 rows, not thousands...) and some manually calculated results. Just before posting, scroll down to GO ADVANCED, click, and then scroll down to MANAGE ATTACHMENTS and click again. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.
Please edit your workbook and post a suitable copy. Thanks.

Perfect thanks, this just pulls out the bullet points, is it possible to include all text breaks, such as a paragraph?

    Thanks
