How to get PowerQuery table names to show the name of the original query names

    Hi Folks.

I am combining a lot of excel tables using powerquery. All the tables that were combined originally had names with dates. Ie 10.1.21, 10.7.21, etc. When I made my query it gives them these names. How do I get it to display the proper date for the names?

Hello ExcelSam7 and Welcome to Excel Forum.
We might have a better understanding of the issue if we could see a sample file with a few Excel tables and the manually produced example of the output showing what you would like to get from Power Query.
Instructions for attaching a file are given in the "HOW TO ATTACH YOUR SAMPLE WORKBOOK" banner at the top of the page.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Consider taking the time to add to the reputation of everybody that has taken the time to respond to your query.
