Excel sheet protected with password, xl-data for deleting password doesn't exist

Hey everyone,

I have a problem because one of our former employees protected an important Masterfile very strongly with a password. Now she can't/won't remember the password.

1. I tried using the method of unpacking the file with the 7Zip-Programm. Unfortunately my data structure in 7Zip doesn't show the .xl-file you're supposed to open.

2. I also tried the old method of opening the file with an editor program, unfortunately the editors can't read the file and I'm not able to delete the "sheet password".

Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I don't have to work in the sheet, I just need to see the information.
