    Protect Worksheet but allow user access to just a few cells

    I feel like an idiot! I've tried to find answer for over an hour w/o any success.
    I'm using: Mac OS 12.1 and Excel for Mac 16.56

    Should be simple...
    My file is just one single sheet "Sheet 1"
    Cells A1 => L53 contain all content.
    I want to "Protect / Lock" all cells except: D29, D30, D31, and D32.

    Desired End Result: Folks using protected sheet can "what if" by changing values in D29, D30, D31, and D32 but these are the only cells where cell value/formula can be altered.

    Thanks,
    _Andy L

    To select the cells where editing is allowed

    Review/Protect/Allow Edit Ranges

    and then Review/Protect/Protect sheet

    See attached file. the password is.... secret
