If the dates are Excel dates (not TEXT) simply Custom Format to "yyyymmdd"

So I had tried and it does not work. Let me explain a bit further. To start, my date is the output of a formula. Next, I copy and do a Paste Values. I am not sure if that puts it in a number or text format. Then I Custom Format it to "yyyymmdd" and that does not work. Next, I type in the numbers myself and it works. When I say "works" I need for a Bloomberg Excel link to use the two dates to generated the High Price between the two dates and the dates must be in Bloomberg's required format.
See yellow banner on how to attach a sample workbook.
I figured it out but thanks! The answer is =TEXT(A1,"yyyymmdd") where A1 can be the date formatted as "mm/dd/yyyy" of a formula that produces such date
