Matching data between 2 dates

Hi All

I have two sets of data - one is enquiries over a period of time - individuals can have multiple enquiries in the period. The other is specific actions that have taken place in relation to the individuals.

I need to identify which enquiry the action relates to.

Where there are multiple enquiries, I have worked out the date of the next enquiry - where there is only one enquiry, the next enquiry date is one in the far future.

I am trying to build a column in the Action sheet which will bring back the enquiry date where:

The unique ID matches
The action start date is greater than or equal to the date of enquiry but less than the date of the next enquiry.

I've tried Index Match and If/And formulas but can't seem to get it to work?

Any help greatly appreciated.
