Day of Week and date Tue - (2/3/2022)

I've tried to combine the Text(e5,"ddd") and Weekday(E5,DDD,MMM,YY) but that did not work for me. Any suggestions?

is E5 text or numeric? to find out use this... =ISNUMBER(E5) if it returns TRUE then it is a number.
is F5 a number formatted as February or February written as text? you can use the same formula if you aren't sure.

The reason I am asking questions is that to write a formula it takes precision to write a formula that does something. For lack of information I'll just give you these formulas for F5 and G5.
F5 =TEXT(E5,"mmmm") will give you February
G5 =TEXT(E5,"dddd") will give you Tuesday
not sure what else you want.

    Try this:

    =TEXT(E5,"ddd")&" - ("&TEXT(E5,"m/d/yyyy")&")"

    Or try this:

    =TEXT(E5,"ddd - (m/d/yyyy)")

Re: Day of Week and date Tue - (2/3/2022)

Well, I'm glad others have looked into this too. I'm still unsure of what the OP wanted to accomplish (title says 2/3/2022 while first post #4 mentions first workday which of course Tuesday should be a workday.
That is why I thought to bump this again after getting online again, thanks Ali and Phuocam for contributing, maybe the answer the OP wanted is now provided.

When the OP responds, we'll know. For now, it's a waiting game.
