Excel Error

I have attached the image for more clarification. what i want to do is to get a reply true if the next number i.e a2 is either equal to a1 or is from a certain set of values that is different for different numbers. For e.g if A1 is 34 then A2 should be either 2,25,17,6,27,13. Like this, there are different sets of values for different numbers. Thanks for your help!

where does that "certain set of values" come from? Is it something to do with a roulette wheel?

Yes those certain set of values come from roulette. If the number is x(a1 in excel) then we have to pick 3 neighbors from both sides and x as well for predicting the next spin i.e a2 in excel and if a1 and a2 fit these criteria then the result should be true. This make different set of values for different value of x.

For e.g x is 34 then values will be-- 17,5,22,34,15,3,24 and so on for different value of x.

I want to make a formula so that it replies true if value a2 is either equal to a1 or it is withing those certain sets of values(3 neighbors on both sides).
