Hi so I have an excel document that links to other documents at work which all works no problem. However occasionally this document needs to be sent to another user on a different computer at home, the links are set to automatically update on opening which comes up with an error as it can’t find the other documents, all of which is to be expected. However when the document is sent back to the work user and replaces the orginal file the links still don’t work. On further inspection the following is happening…
The original link are set to find a file in J:/documents which is correct. When the file is sent back from the home user the link has changed to C:/documents even tho the links have not been changed manually.
I’ve tried going into trust centre to turn off links but it still no luck.
Any ideas?
