Unhappy Using Sumproduct Not providing same value as Manually Averaging

    Hi

I realise this is a very basic question and that the explanation/answer may be glaringly obvious but I'm still not able to get it.

Im trying to calculate the average share purchase price of a set of trades and I've tried doing this with 2 different methods that should give the same value but don't.

Method 1: Sumproduct function multiplying cost price with the amount purchased for all the trades divided by the total amount purchased
Method 2: Average of the Total amount purchased and the total shares purchased

    Both give different values.

    What am I missing

    Would it not be

    instead of =SUMPRODUCT(F6:F23,G6:G23)/G24
