    Re: Conditional Formatting in pairs

Highlight A2:A39, create a new conditional format based on a formula and use this formula:

    Re: Conditional Formatting in pairs

Thank you so much. It works! Before I mark the issue solved may I ask you something similar? If the pair was horizontal I would have used the same formula?

If the pairs are horizontal, please try CF-rule applies to $B$1:$AM$1:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

If the pairs are vertical, please try CF-rule applies to $A$2:$A$39:

    Re: Conditional Formatting in pairs

I think that I solved the previous problem and thank you for the Vertical. I have an issue with the horizontal though.
I want to choose from three options than two. Take a look at the attached file and especially the Sheet2.

    Re: Conditional Formatting in pairs

Thank you again and again for the reply!
It is unpleasant to ask you again about something that you have already gave me
an answer for, but for some reason that I can't understand it doesn't apply to some columns.
Take a look at the file, if it doesn't irritate you.

    Thank you in advance

    Re: Conditional Formatting in pairs

No, no problem. You have transferred the formula well, but because the intermediate cells are now emptied with a formula, the old one no longer works.
This one does work (both in the previous situation and in this new situation:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

And thx for the rep. .
