    conditional formatting to find absolute value pairs

    Hi Gurus,
    I have attached a sample database. I would like to highlight absolute pairs in a column. I.e. 30,000 and (30,000).
    Please see attached spreadsheet.
    Thank you.

    hi kisboros. select the range you want to apply to (i.e. A1:A18)
    in Excel 2007 & above, go to Home -> Conditional Formatting -> New Rule -> Use a formula to determine which cells to format -> Format values where this formula is true:
    =SUMPRODUCT(--(ABS($A$1:$A$18)=ABS($A1)))>=2
    there are no pairs for 30,000

    Thanks, if you have clicked on the * and added our rep.
