    Consolidate large data

Hello, can anybody can help me with this issue please!
I have two columns with 85000 rows each! On the first column are located the serial numbers of the articles, on the second are the pcs that are sold/its export file from our erp/ !
I tryed to use consolidate function by default to see how many pcs of each article are in the list/there are lot of dublicates /
Unfortunetly everytime when i try to use consolidate nothing happens, excel try to do something, start thinking, stucks and when finish nothing happens... Its look like the data is too large or something else. Can you sugect me other way to do this please? Thank you in advance

    Re: Consolidate large data

there are many ways to consolidate whether by using a pivot table/ a formula/ or the consolidate feature.
I guess before i can give you an answer i would need to know exactly what result you are trying to achieve?
Are you just trying to remove duplicates and find unique serial numbers?
Are you trying to count only specific pc models?
We need more details and probably a sample workbook to tailor our answers to your specific needs.

Perhaps using Power Query might help at creating a Pivot Table?

    Re: Consolidate large data

    Thank you dosydos,

There is the table that im using.
Yes, i need something like Pivot table but this is just working file and i will use the data for other main table.
I need to remove the dublicates and count their specific values
    For example
    Art1 10 pcs
    Art2 23 pcs
    Art3 12 pcs
    Art1 8 pcs
    Art3 8 pcs

    New data
    Art1 18pcs
    ART2 23pcs
    Art3 20pcs

    Нов Работен лис&#.XLSX

Its just 10000 rows because the file is more than 1mb .
    Thank you again

    Re: Consolidate large data

So i have attached the workbook with two solutions:
    a formula solution
    using UNIQUE() and SUMIF()
a pivot table option on a separate tab.

I hope one of these will fit your needs
