    Scrape data from website

    Hi Excel Forum,

I have a list of subsidised medicines in New Zealand and want to list their indications in an adjacent column.

I am attempting to save time navigating to each page on the New Zealand Formulary website, finding the subject "indications" and pasting this data into my spreadsheet.

My desired output would look something like this:

    Column A:
    Olsalazine
    Diazepam
    Norethisterone
    Rizatriptan

    Column B:
treatment of mild to moderate acute ulcerative colitis and maintenance of remission
short-term treatment of anxiety or insomnia
    dysfunctional uterine bleeding
    treatment of acute migraine

Searches on NZF often generate more than one result, and ideally, the first result would be selected. If no result or indication were available, then output such as "NA" or leaving the cell blank would be helpful.

I am unable to post the website; however, this is the first google result when "New Zealand formulary" is searched.

I'm hoping someone may know how this may be accomplished!

    Many Thanks

When I go to the website https://nzformulary.org/ which item are you attempting to download. There appear to be multiple selections. It also appears that you need to be a resident of New Zealand.
    EDIT:
Since I cannot view the website, I will pass on this and let someone from NZ help you.

    Thanks Alan,

Using the search tool, multiple options take you to a different page. The first option is usually the most relevant one. From here information is categorised e.g., "indications". This is what I am interested in

Without further action on my part, you may wish to look at attempting to get the data using Power Query. On the Data Tab, Get Data, From Web. Follow this procedure.
