New lines issue when using Excel, Word, Mail Merge, and Outlook

Using my MacBook Pro, I want to send emails using Mail Merge with Excel, Word, and Outlook. When I create the email body in Word, the resulting emails ignore the newlines. I want the email body to have the same line spacing as the Word file. The attached files are the Excel and Word files used with a resulting email PDF.
