Hi
I track on-the-road technicians hours by the GPS logging information from their vehicles. Currently I manually enter their hours from the GPS tracking website to an excel sheet. The GPS tracking website allows downloading of the data in a CSV file, but it seems to be designed by a madman. From watching YouTube videos I am relatively confident that Power Query would be able to clean up these tables into something useful.
My question is, can I create a template with power query and it would be able to create the same report based on CSV files in a sub folder. Could I create the report, give the report to a different manager, and after downloading the CSV files of their technicians would they get the same report with the data of their technicians without them having to learn power query. Would I be able to make one generic weekly or monthly excel sheet and it would look for the CSV files and make the report as soon as I download the data for that time period?
I appreciate your help. I don't mind figuring it out, but I would like to know if I'm barking up the right tree before I start.
Thanks
