Remove Generation Code from a Persons Name

Is there a way to remove a generation code from a persons name?

I cannot use find and replace because some of the legitimate names might be impacted.

By generation codes I mean the JR, Jr, SR, Sr, ii, II, iii, III, IV, V, VI, etc. See the attached file.

They are part of the name and using a Text Delimited does not always work because the way some of the names are laid out.

Is there a way to remove these in mass?

Here is an option with a formula.

The formula removes only the generation code when the generation code is at the end of the name. So Valdez with a V stays intact.

Please create a table with acceptable generation codes and try in E2 and copy down:
    Formula: copy to clipboard
