I apologize beforehand because it is kinda difficult to explain!
Giving an array, is there any formula to count values that happens next to a given cell value (like a data validation)? I attached a file that could help you look at this scenario.

I don't quite understand but here's another one. It looks for the value in H2 and checks each side for the values in column J peer row.

I think it is getting there! In H2 I look for a club, then K2 to K6 should check the lines and count how many times the clubs in J2:J6 were along in top 6. An example is when I select "West Ham" in H2, it should show me that it appears along Chelsea 1 time (K3) and Arsenal 0 time (K2), for example. Is it possible? Thanks!!
