    completion percentage

    Hi Experts

Your support and advice are highly appreciated, I want to represent completion percentage to track the daily tasks (monthly, quarterly ) for whole 2023 year in chart and table

For Completion sheet as mentioned above
For SLA sheet there is one condition if meet or better the target how we can calculate as above
What is the best way to do that?

Note : every week i keep add new date till end of year

at the end will be like the below

    Re: completion percentage

If I understand you correctly, simply add a column to the data with the % calculation (B2/C2) then put that in a Pivot Table with the Dates grouped by Qtr and the new % column. The only thing that might need to be adjusted is this is using AVERAGE % which is not 100% accurate possibly. (I actually did the direct math and the result was the same 100.09% so it should work as I have it in the example, I think)

Just for reference, the normal way to get a "correct" calculation is using a calculated field in the pivot table. You could create a calculated field that does SUM of the value divided by SUM of the Target which will give you the same 100.09%. In this case I don't think it is required, but it's worth noting as it may come up in the future in some instances. I put samples of both ways in the file.

(Edit: Based on your sample image I hope I did not understand, I noticed you percentages are going up through the year so maybe you are wanting the total % for the year..to do that your data would need the target rates for all the dates of the year though..if I am following correctly)

Not like this For SLA sheet the maintain % Greater Than Target showed 93.67% for Q1 see in SLA file power pivot ==> update all i want to find way to present completion percentage to track quarterly ( for this if value greater than target that meaning task achieved

-For Completion sheet in Completion Percentage file , I want to represent completion percentage to track the daily tasks ( quarterly ) for whole 2023 year in chart and table here the task done

    Re: completion percentage

I am having a hard time following you complete, unfortunately.

I think I understand now that you want the percentage of the dates that you met the goal. So in your data I see there are only 3 days where you did not meet the goal, therefor since there are 79 days and 74 of which the goal was met, that's 96.67%/ I think I follow, then what is wrong with the new sample file you attached, is that not the result you already wanted?

For Completion sheet you only have on here a "Sent" and "Category" column, so I am not sure what you're wanting a percentage based off of?

"Sent" column has the date of sent daily report to track at the end how many reports have been sent ,ignore "Category" column from "Sent" column will a percentage completion monthly based

I appreciate your efforts i will clarification simply in other way for completion sheet

    one year has 4 quarters ==> completion % of 1st quarter will be 25% from whole year ( 1/4 *100 ) etc....

If I take base as monthly ==> completion % of 1st month will be 8.33% from whole year (1/12 *100) etc....
