    Delete Sheet not working in Excel

    I have a spreadsheet with multiple sheets and every month I add a new sheet and delete the one with old data. This month I am unable to delete the sheet, but delete is NOT greyed out and the workbook is NOT shared. I have deleted the content on the page and tried again and have tried by right clicking on the sheet title and using home, delete, drop down menu - neither is working. If I add a new sheet, I can delete that.

    You might have that worksheet protected???

    I opened and closed, reset and now it works!
