Inventory Tracking with Excel, and automated updates

I know that Excel has a template we can use to track an inventory; and it includes a flag to tell you to reorder things when the stock gets low, but updating that sheet is just going to the appropriate line and changing a number. If there's a lot of hands going into the sheet, it can be easy for someone to mess up and accidentally overwrite a number. (Solution is to limit who can update inventory!)

Anyway, is there a template with a macro set up? With that macro, I can choose the inventory ID or item name, then how many items I'm either adding or removing?
