How to put the '$' into numerous list at once

Hi this must sound very silly but is there aneasier way to put the $ into a list of formulas than do it manually? I have from B6 dragged down to B100 that all now have to change to $B$6 to $B$100, its going to take me ages!

Attached lists in A abd B must all get $

    Thanks!

    Re: The '$' function

Find and replace should do it.

    Find: B
    Replace: $B$

    Give it a go!

Mind you, dragging 100 rows probably takes the same number of seconds as doing the F&R ...

By the way, your thread title is too generic - make titles more descriptive in future, please.

Based on the workbook you have now provided (tested):

    1. Select column B.
    2. Find: STOCKTAKE'!A
    3. Replace: STOCKTAKE'!$A$

    Re: The '$' function

Thanks for the advice, I edited the post, hope its okay now.

also I dont have a clue how to use the F&R. I know I can drag A2 down and thats what I did, but now I need to 'lock' all of them?

    Did you see post #3?

    1. Select column B so that it is completely highlighted (click on the column header).
    2. With column B highlighted, click on Find & Select > Replace ... on the Home ribbon (far right).
    3. In the Find box type: STOCKTAKE'!A
    4. In the Replace box type: STOCKTAKE'!$A$
    5. Hit Replace All (button bottom left).
