assigning hyperlink to picture or object in excel that destination file gets download

I am inserting a picture in my excel and giving hyperlink to it to reach another macro enabled excel file in some location and folder of my pc. Rather then opening that file directly when i click on that picture the final destination file gets download and after download i am opening it.

how to resolve this issue.

You might try "repair excel".

Your macro also might be asking the file to download and not open. See if there's an instruction in your code pointing to the resulted download location, and work from there.

No i am not using any macro, just right clicking an object and assigning hyperlink to open a other excel file.

please help, till i use this excel this hyperlink work well and open file but when i save that excel as html file that hyperlink behaves differently and every time that destination hyperlink excel file gets download rather than opening

file location f:/// can be an issue or how to resolve this
