    Maximum Drawdown and LAMBDA

    Hi,

In column B I have some randomly-generated monthly growth rates.

I would like to calculate in cell J2 the so-called Maximum Drawdown from, for example, 31/12/2020 to 31/12/2021 (cells H2:I2).

As you can see this is quite a laborious calculation for something so straight-forward.

Is it possible to create using the new LAMBDA function a formula that allows the maximum drawdown to be calculated in a single step, including being able to stipulate the dates between which the result is calculated?

    Thanks!

    Thank you both very much!

Ali - I tried to add to your reputation but it seems that I need first to do the same for others so will try again later.
