    Working out relevant fee

    Hi guys,

    Have a bit of an issue. So I have determined what category a product I am selling is based on other metrics. I also know the weight of the product. Using a table of data that has the various categories, the maximum allowed weights within each category and the associated fee, I would like a formula that when I enter the category and weight of a product, it will tell me the correct fee. Attached is the table I want to use as a lookup.

    Thanks

    (Category) E2 =2
    (Max Weight) F2 =460

    G2 =SUMIFS(C:C,A:A,E2,B:B,F2)

    That doesn't work I'm afraid. Any other ideas?

    Enter Category into E2.
    Enter Weight into F2.
    Formula is in G2.

    Hello adampickering88.
    Welcome to the forum.

    Please update your Profile. 2023 is not an Excel product or version. If you are not familiar with how to find what you have:

    The best solutions often rely on knowing WHICH Office PRODUCT (Excel, NOT Windows) that you have. Please check that your forum profile is up-to-date. If you aren't sure, in Excel go to File/Account and report what it says below the MS logo at the top of that page. If your version is for Mac, please also state this.

    The three most recent Excel PRODUCTS are Excel 2019, Excel 2021 and MS365 - if you are using MS365, please give this name along with the Version number in your profile (e.g. MS365 (PC) Version 2211). The version number is in the About Excel section further down the Account page.

    Thank you,
    Dave
