ADDED ATTACHMENT with no Names
Hi,
I'm trying to figure this one out. I have a data set that I keep adding data and would like a formula to sum up a date range for each pay period in the year
My formula I use to sum up the hours is : =SUM(IF(dro!A:A='Top Sheet for Payment'!B3,dro!M:M,"")) but this is summing up all hours. Is there an adjustment I could use to just grab a date range ?
On the attachment, sheet "top sheet for payment" current has all days combined , and I left 2 columns blank to see if a new formula could be added.
If a pivot table is the easier option, how would I set the pivot table up to add the amounts for future dates with data ?
ie. here are the date ranges I need
Sept 10-23
Sept 24-Oct 7
Oct 8-21
Oct 22-Nov 4
Hopefully someone may be able to assist me in this.
BTW - the columns needed from the DRO Sheet are:
|Column A SAP - This is the person
Column D Date - The day
Column M Hours - for the day
