blood pressure chart help please :)

Hello everyone, I built a weekly file for monitoring blood pressure

In the file a week is displayed, how do I make column N3 have the option to filter the table by week so that the table is updated with the entered data and the chart changes accordingly?

    Would appreciate help

OK. So first thing, please update your profile.

    Then...

more explanation is needed. N3 can contain what ??? Nothing or a date?? If N3 contains nothing, what do you want to see? Ig N3 contains a date, what do you want to see.

As more data are added, is N3 going to keep moving to the right?

Your data layout is .... not great. Also I can't read Hebrew. Is בוקר someone's name, or what?

How much flexibility is there regarding layout?

    I updated the profile

I'm thinking of doing a filter with dates like in the picture and in the file attached to the message.

It will be possible to select dates for each week and the table will be updated with 7 day dates and the chart below

Have a look at this. No graphs yet... but how does this look as an alternative layout (you STILL have not answered ANY of my Questions).

What do you mean by "attach my table from the previous issue". The original data are still there (in another sheet). I just mocked up data in a more Excel-friendly way (in columns, not rows).

    Wow!! Amazing ,
Is it possible to make spaces in the chart like I have?
And also how do I make the dates displayed in the table be displayed upside down
And not according to 6 days back?
For example, I write 10/9 which will be a subsequent date.

    >> Probably, but I'm not very good with Excel charts. I suggest that once everything else is done, you ask a new Q.

The bit you are pointing to is the raw data, where you add new values (at the bottom) each day. The actual data used to populate the chart is in columns T to Z...

You are great but there is a possibility that you will say I register from 9/17 it will appear until 9/23
But it will start on 9/17
And let's not say that I register 16/9 will it continue backwards?

    You are being imprecise.

You enter 10 Sep... and 5 days. It shows 10-14 Sep (5 days).

Which day should appear at the TOP of the filtered list?

Which day should appear at the LEFT of the graph?

    Two Qs. Two answers, please.

    Hopefully this is it.

I'm a bit odd, maybe, as I am MUCH better at picking things up when I SEE what people want, rather than READING what people want. I'm not dyslexic (I think) as I had to read masses of stuff for work each and every day. Maybe, being a scientist I have very exacting expectations when it comes to a written specification.

    You're welcome.

Then change the number of days to be displayed in J1 to WHATEVER you want. the chart will adjust from 1 day to ALL days included in the data, depending on your selection.

All you need to do to finish this is to change the bit here, in red, to something sensible and future-proof... 100, 500, 1000 or whatever.

Open your pictures from Post 27 and 34. They are BOTH what you say you want. They are DIFFERENT.

Make your mind up, and post a FINAL description of what you want. We are going in circles because YOU are not being clear, YOU are NOT answering my Qs and YOU are changing your mind.

The next one will be my LAST go... so make 110% sure it's what you want.

Re: blood pressure chart help please :)

    1. In the sample file I added, the raw data stop at 15/9. There are therefore no data to return beyond the 15th.

    2. J1 asks for 7 days data, in the raw data there are only 6 available days worth of data (as data for 16/9 have not been added). Therefore only 6 results are returned.

    3. According to the pic in Post 34, the earliest date sould appear first in the Table. It does.

    4. Despite being asked MANY times to explain what you want, you have ONCE AGAIN, NOT stated which date should appear first in the chart. So, it currently shows the earliest date at the left.

    5. And yes, I am getting soooo close to walking away from this thread. That's the beauty of the EF. I do this for fun. If I think someone is messing me around, I simply walk away. When I do that, I do NOT return.
