    COUNTIFS matching a range

I have seen the COUNTIFS(Table1[Service Status],{"Complete","In Work"}) type of formulas, but i am wanting the portion between the curly braces to be dynamic pulled from another table.
Similar to the IN function within SQL.

I have tried multiple things and searched for a while now, so any assistance is greatly appreciated. :P

Pretty sure that only works with constant values, not cells or ranges. There's probably a way though.

I don't have the Table but it would look something like this:

I'm sure there are better ways.

The criteria-parameter of the function COUNTIFS can be a dynamic table.

thank you, ill give this a shot.
i was on a bit of a deadline so i just made a simple helper column in the data source with a vlookup and iferror.
i have never used the let command before.
