Combining sheets dates to summary - Formula Error

Good day, All.

I have worksheets from 1st to 18th Oct 23 and want to retrieve quantities from particular cells from the worksheet but I am a bit stuck on the summary page as I could not change the formula to drag down dates from each worksheet on the summary and need to manually input the dates to retrieve the quantities.

Attached is the workbook (Under summary highlighted in Yellow)

In H9 copied down:

=IFERROR(SUM(INDIRECT("'"&A9&".10.23'!$P$80")),"")

Use =IFERROR(yourformula,"") for dependent formulae.

Thank you very much.

I have inserted the formula and am able to drag down the dates but unable to retrieve the date from the other sheets. Trying to find the problem. Will update again.

Hi Ravind,

Quick question, why using sum when you only need retreive value from one cell ?

For you using the name sheet with date ie: 5.10.23 --> if you change the name sheet for the month or the year, you must change that month and year on the formula.

I prefer this formula because you not need calculation, and for the help with your changing name of sheet by month and year , I add date on C4

Thank you very much. Appreciate your guidance.

1. For your question (why using sum when you only need retreive value from one cell ?) I thought that copying the cell it would auto-capture the required data but it did not.

2. Daily Cylinder Movement Summary - BHPetrol - August 2023 --> why is periodic report still August when your report for October?
The data on the workbook was only created this month on the 5th OCT and the summary sheet is from another workbook that has been used for a long time for manual input. To minimize the daily manual input, I created this worksheet.
