How to get Excel to match two dates in different formats

    Morning all,

I currently have two columns in my spreadsheet. One has the date already formatted in date format. The other is in text format along with the time. So I don't have to manually check if there are any missing days I would like Excel to check the two columns have a matching date, however I'm struggling to get Excel to do this for me.

I have attached a sample worksheet.

    Regards,

    Luke

    This might work:

    =A6:A250=DATEVALUE(SUBSTITUTE(LEFT(C6:C250,10),".","/"))
