Hi,
I am creating a spreadsheet for cricket stats. My issue is for a single player say they played 3 matches.
Match 1: bowled 2 overs
Match 2: bowled 2.3 overs
Match 3: bowled 2.3 overs
Simple =sum(A1:A3) will say its 6.6
however the answer needs to be 7 as there are 6 balls in one over.
How can i formulate for up to 50 vertical cells so that the sum of all the overs bowled follow the 6 ball rule.

Are you only calculating normal over balls? What about no balls and wides?

If you have not already done so, you may not be aware that you can thank anyone who offered you help towards a solution for your issue by clicking the small star icon (* Add Reputation) located in the lower left corner of the post in which the help was given. By doing so you can add to the reputation(s) of each of those who offered help.
So that formula worked perfectly, so how would i use that to also get an average of the total overs bowled by the total games played but have the answer follow the 6 ball rule?
