File Property Author: How to use ComputeName as default author

I am not sure if it is right place to ask the question, but I think people here know a lot about computer.

Here is my issue (just making an example with fake name):

Microsoft Office 365 Account Name: John McCullough, which is signed in with Excel/Word, etc.
Desktop (PC #1): Sign in with Local Account (Name: JM), not sign in with Microsoft account.
Laptop (PC #2): Sign in with Local Account (Name: JM), not sign in with Microsoft account.

Desktop (PC #1): When I save an excel file, its default author name is JM, which is what I want.

Laptop (PC #2): Although it is also sign in with Local Account (Name: JM) with the computer, but when I save an excel file, its default file property author is John McCullough, which is not what I want. For example, if I upload a file here and I prefer not to expose my full name in file property. I know I can remove Author name from file property before sharing a file in public, but it takes time to do so and I may forget to do so.

How to use compute name as default file author name? Is it setting within Microsoft Excel or somewhere?

    Thanks.

What do you have set under the 'Personalise your copy of Office' section? Have you specified to use a particular name regardless of sign-in?

Yes, default file property author is set in that section. I think I set it before (long time ago), but did not check "Always use these value regardless of sign in to Office" in laptop. I rarely use laptop and did not notice the difference before.

But anyway, it seems file property default author has nothing to do with computer name, it is within Excel/Word setting. At least this is the case for Microsoft office files, but not sure other file type. I don't see author value in PDF file property.
