Lightbulb Transfer table to unique row dataset

    Hi everyone,

ive encountered an issue where I need to organize the data differently for ease of analysis and data visualization.

Currently a group of people is maintaining an overview showing orders (forecasted, and firm orders). They are shown per calender week in a row.

Ideally I would like to have a new overview where all information is placed in rows. Each row should be a unique combination of Customer name-Weeknumber-Order type-Quantity.
Unfortunately it is not possible to adjust the source overview as it is being used in many running processes.

Is there any way to easily create a new overview as described in the attachment.
Ideally i would like to link these 2 overviews so that it is maintened when in the original overview information is adjusted/added.

I hope someone has a clever idea on how to go about this !

    thx

Hello eksel_88 and Welcome to Excel Forum.
    You could use Power Query.
    1. Convert the range in rows 3:9 into an Excel table (Ctrl + t)
    2. On the Data tab select From Table/Range
    3. Replace the existing code in the Advanced Editor with:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
    3. Select "Close & Load To" to put the new table in the desired location
When information is adjusted/added then right click any cell in the new (green/white) table, and then select Refresh.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Consider taking the time to add to the reputation of everybody that has taken the time to respond to your query.
