Excel default workbook

I am using Excel on a Macbook Pro. Version 16.81. I want to set up a default workbook but can't figure out where to put the standard workbook so that it opens whenever I open Excel. Can anyone help?

Put it in the xlstart folder.

Not sure where that is located in a MAC, but in a windows machine

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART\

You may have to research that a bit.

Thanks for your help. That folder works for windows computers but I'm on a MacBook Pro.
