    Table Cross Referencing

    Hi all,

I have got two lists of data that are presented in a cross-referenced format. See example. Table cross referencing.xlsx

In cell M3 I want to pick a number from the columns that returns the names that have data in that column.

In cell P3 I want to be able to type in a name and then there is an output the letters that cross match with the name to have data. Also if possible would want to do it so that it picks up what your searching, kind of like a google search. E.g., I start typing Ar and it fills in Argos.

Any help would be appreciated. If there is an easier way to do this or lay it out I am all ears.

    Thanks

    Thanks for that,

If I want to do the same thing but this time its text on both sides what formula would I have to use for that,
as I guess it would be different that using numbers.
