    Alt File Menu

    Hello,

First, I want to make clear that I'm not talking about the Ribbon at all. I included a file of a screenshot.

I use Excel on a Windows 10 PC. It's technically Office 365, but I use the desktop app. Here's the issue. There are too many menu items on the Alt File menu. Can I remove any that I don't personally need? I used to be able to hit 1-9 for my 9 pinned most used spreadsheets. Now I can only hit 1-6. I don't recall what the file menu used to contain, but I don't need these options:

Get Add-ins- this is already under Options.
Update License- this should be with Account.
    Feedback

    Can they be removed?

    Thanks!
    Linda

no i don't believe you can remove these, but to add the recent workbooks that you used to do ALT + number with go to Options>Advanced and under display you will find the option that you need to check shown in yellow.
You can also change the amount shown as well.

Thanks, but the image you showed has nothing to do with the issue at hand. I've already had 9 in that field. It only shows the first 6 and then I have to type 00 for the remainder to appear. All 9 used to appear before Microsoft added the 3 things I mentioned I don't need.
