Smile Power Query Merge Query Issues with Duplicate Values in the Matching Column

I have merged two tables, one table is from the books and the other one is from the bank, the merged data shows that one check number has matched to two different check numbers as the amounts are the same (the matching is being done with amounts, as there is no other primary key to merge the data) leading to incorrect reconciliation. I would appreciate if someone can advise if there is a way to overcome this flaw in the matching by power query.

Given the information provided, PQ will match the data as shown in the merged query. The bank does not provide a check number with the statement? To be sure that the join is correct as you desire, it is necessary to have both the check number and the amount.
